
This safari takes you to the top destinations in East Africa for Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park, an epic wildlife series, the African Big Five, and a birding experience in Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara National Parks.
This Safari will take you to one of Kenya's most famous tourist destinations, the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is situated in the country's southwest along the Great Rift Valley in Narok County and is bordered by Tanzania's Serengeti National Park on all sides.
You will also visit Lake Naivasha for more wildlife encounters and a birding experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Start your 11-day Kenya-Uganda safari adventure by getting picked up from Entebbe Airport (EBB) by our guide. He will then give you a quick overview of the trip and drive you to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before checking out and transferring to Kibale National Park. You will pass through various small towns in the countryside, you will have lunch at the backdrop of Rwenzori Mountain in Fort Portal town, and you'll continue driving to the park. Additionally, you will go past traditional villages where you may take in the lush, year-round foliage.
There are 13 primate species in Kibale forest, including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, and the endangered L'Hoest's monkeys. It is located between 1100 and 1600 meters above sea level. To safeguard the then-increasing number of animals and plants, the park was gazetted in 1932 and created in 1993. There are also 250 tree species, 325 bird species, 13 primate species, 60 mammal species, and 14 wild fields among the various animal species discovered in the park.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
You will visit the park headquarters early in the morning after breakfast to receive a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. You'll start looking for the chimpanzees in the park at 8:00 a.m. These primates are the closest living cousins to humans, and 98% of their DNA is identical to human DNA. The L'Hoest monkeys, golden monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, grey-checked Mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, and many bird species, such as the green-breasted pitta, rumped tinkerbird, yellow spotted nicator, and the green-breasted pitta, will also be seen alongside the chimpanzees in this park.
This park, one of Africa's great rainforests, is home to the continent's largest chimpanzee population, with each community having between one and one hundred members and a complex social structure.
You will visit Bigodi Swamp later in the day, which is also a fantastic place to see primates and birds. The majority of the locals who preserve it do so to support themselves. The great blue turaco is just one of the many bird species you might see here. Other primate species you can see include baboons, mongooses, otters, bush pigs, and bushbucks.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha sector in the early morning after breakfast, where you will see numerous tree-climbing lions. Numerous wildlife, such as antelopes, monkeys, birds, and kobs, will also be visible.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Breakfast in the morning, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don'ts of Bwindi gorilla trekking. Due to varying weather, trekkers are usually encouraged to bring their rain coats and boots. There are also some potters who, for a nominal fee, are always willing to assist visitors with their luggage. The rangers will instruct you on how to handle the gorillas once you see them, notably by keeping a 6-meter distance from them as you watch them play.
After your hike, head back to the resort for lunch. You may then decide to visit the Batwa community in the late afternoon to take in some cultural performances before retiring to your lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, Transfer to Entebbe for your onward journey to Nairobi.
Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the great Masai Mara National Reserve, and enjoy a scenic drive on your way to your hotel.
Day 8: Game Drive in Masai Mara
Start the day with an early morning Game drive in the Masai Mara. You will be taken on two game drives today, one from 6.15 am to 9 am before breakfast and the other from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm in the late afternoon following lunch. The ideal times to see animals at their most active are generally early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Your game drive timings are flexible because your safari is private, which is convenient if you're traveling with kids or on your honeymoon and might wish to sleep in later on some days. For no additional charge, you can also decide to go on a full-day game drive that includes a picnic lunch, return to the camp to spend the night.
Day 9: Morning Game Drive and transfer to Lake Naivasha
Your time in the Mara should come to an end with a brief early-morning wildlife drive and breakfast. Your safari now takes you to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is well-liked by both locals and tourists in Kenya. Be there in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure. The lodge we reserve at the lake offers lovely natural spaces where you may view various creatures, such as waterbuck and warthogs, as well as countless bird species amid the trees.
Day 10: Walking Safari and Boat Ride in Lake Naivasha
Embark on a walking safari and a Boat ride Safari along Lake Naivasha, during which you can observe some of the lake's species, like hippos, waterbucks, and take in the magnificent views of the lake and the highland Landscapes surrounding it.
Day 11: Departure to Nairobi for your onward journey back home.
