As you near Fort Portal, nestled in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, you will see vast tea plantations stretching out. It's a striking change from the countryside we just traveled through.

Upon reaching Fort Portal, you will head to Kibale Forest, known for its diverse primate population and abundant birdlife. We might take some time to explore Fort Portal, famous for its weaving and basketry.

In the afternoon, you will visit a nearby forest area known for primate sightings and other wildlife. We might spot various animals like blue monkeys, baboons, otters, and many bird species.

Accommodation options range from upscale lodges to midrange guesthouses and budget-friendly camping options.

Day 3: Exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning game drive in the northern part of the park, where you will search for lions, elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, you will go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering close encounters with hippos, buffalo, and a variety of birdlife.
