Day 7: Game Drive in Masai Mara

Start the day with an early morning Game drive in the Masai Mara. You will be taken on two game drives today, one from 6.15 am to 9 am before breakfast and the other from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm in the late afternoon following lunch. The ideal times to see animals at their most active are generally early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Your game drive timings are flexible because your safari is private, which is convenient if you're traveling with kids or on your honeymoon and might wish to sleep in later on some days. For no additional charge, you can also decide to go on a full-day game drive that includes a picnic lunch, return to the camp to spend the night.

Day 8: Transfer to Samburu National Park

Your time in the Mara should come to an end with a brief early-morning wildlife drive and breakfast. Your safari now takes you to Samburu National Park, the only park in Africa that has what is known as the unique special 5. Others have the Big 5, but Samburu has the special 5 too.

Day 9: Game Drive in Samburu National Park

Full day game drive in Samburu National Park. Samburu is a premier game reserve in Northern Kenya, known for rare animals like Grevy Zebra, and offers game viewing, cultural tours, and natural walks. It is famous for having rare species that are identified as the special 5.

Day 10: Transfer to Uganda.

You will be met by our guide at Entebbe International Airport, who will take you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Southwestern Uganda, famous for being a sanctuary for nearly half of the World's remaining mountain gorillas. The dense, misty rainforest is also home to other wildlife, including chimpanzees and diverse species of birds, and offers activities such as gorilla trekking, natural walks, and birdwatching.

Day 12: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable.

After an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and then embark on the trek with your guide to find a gorilla family, which can take 2-8 hours. Once you locate the Gorilla family, you will spend up to one hour observing them. Return to the lodge for the rest of the day to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala.
