This is an adventure that gives you a chance to be in two countries on one Trip. In this you flight from home takes you to Kigali Airport where we pick you to Uganda and your flight back will be at Entebbe Airport Uganda.
Day 1. Kigali – Bwindi
Afrika Panthera Driver will pick you from Kigali – Rwanda to Bwindi Impenetrable NP to you Hotel for Diner and overnight.
Day 2. Gorilla tracking.
At 6:30am after breakfast, we set off for Gorilla tracking in the tropical of Bwindi forest through the Rushaga trail or Buhoma. As you track the Gorillas, you will have a chance to view a number of different tree species, over 350 bird species, butterflies, and other primates. After hours of tracking , we head back to the Hotel for Lunch and rest for the next day.
Day 3. Bwindi – to Lake Mutanda Island
Early morning after breakfast we set off for Lake Mutanda Island with a canoe. I must warn you this is a very emotional day as you see the ‘mummies’ and listen to their history- Bakiga girls that were killed and dumped in the lake for getting pregnant out of wedlock. Very emotional that after this day we get back to the hotel for dinner and over night. Alternatively you can choose to have a swim in Lake Mutanda then later we head back to the Hotel.
Day 4. Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast we set off for Lake Bunyonyi we check in Hotel upon arrival, have lunch in the afternoon you head for an adventurous activity with two interesting challenges of high rope climbing combined with Zip lining. You also can do a little birding in the evening as you head to your hotel for diner and overnight.
Day. 5 lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe.
After breakfast we embark on our 10 hours’ drive back to Entebbe with lunch en-route and you might have a stopover at the equator for photographs depending on our time of Arrival. We check in the hotel, have dinner and overnight.
Day .6 Hotel – Airport Entebbe.
The driver picks you from the Hotel to the Airport to catch your flight back Home.
